Browser Privacy

Today’s web browsers are highly customizable software platforms that can protect most of the data that flows between your computer and any parties you interact with. A modern browser has impressive privacy capabilities; for instance, it can warn you before you visit suspicious sites, and let you surf the Internet without downloading tracking cookies. Most of the browsers can also let you know when SSL security technology is used to encrypt a website’s data. Use of SSL can be indicated by a padlock icon that is usually located along the bottom bar of the browser sometimes the website’s name is highlighted in green. Either way clicking on the name or the padlock icon will give you more information concerning the site certification and encryption.
